CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!!!!

BHBL Flag Day Parade- Thursday, June 7, 2007

The Teachers Association is one of the major sponsors of the annual BHBL Flag Day Parade but, in order for it to run smoothly, we need volunteers to help on the night of the parade.

We will need many people to help at the staging areas (where the people and floats prepare for the actual parade). This is a commitment from about 6PM on the night of the parade till about 7:30. There are people in charge at each of the staging sites (BHBL High School and the BH Bowling Alley) and they will tell you how to best help.

We also need a couple of people to judge floats. This is a 7PM- 8PM commitment in which you stand near the BH Firehouse and judge floats-- all based on certain criteria.

Please help us to "pull our weight" as a sponsor of this parade and come be a part of all the festivities that night. (Fireworks are at the HS about 9:15, too!)

If you want to volunteer, let me know which "job" you'd like to do. No promises but I'll do what I can.
